Interpretation

Funny how excited one gets when they open up a fortune cookie to read their "fortune" inside. Do you ever wonder how many people get the same fortune? After having lunch with Dan at a Chinese restaurant, Wes was so excited to open his cookie and see what the paper said. This is exactly how it read, " You should be able to undertake and complete anything you desire."
"What's that mean, Daddy?" Wes asked. "Well, it means you can do anything you want to." Dan replied. Now in thinking about that, Dan meant overall in "life" you can do anything you want. Think about how a 3 year old would interpret it. Yep! He thought that Dan meant he can do ANYTHING he wants!! Wouldn't that be great though? If someone said, sure you can do anything you want! He loved it!! We did have to explain that it meant "within reason" and also still within the rules that momma and daddy have. The response we got after explaining that to him, "Oh." Guess it doesn't seem like near as much fun! It's all in the interpretation! Hope your fortunes allow you to do anything you want!
